Kerina Popal, six years ago, with no experience or
Early Childhood education began working in the child
care field.  A Pleasanton child care center director
took a chance and hired her as an aide, which started
a career path for Kerina.  She fell in love with
teaching and could see what a difference she could
make in a young child's life.

Las Pasitas College was the start of Kerina's formal
education in the Early Childhood field, where she
attended classes and received a Child Center permit
from California Department of Education.  Kerina is hard at work furthering her education to Master Teacher level.

A Child's Hideaway was proud to have Kerina join our team in August of 2011 and we are pleased with the energy she devotes to our Pre-k program.
She believes that as the children learn from her, she also learns from them.

Kerina loves to spend time with her family and friends, shopping, cooking or going to the movies.  She is the eldest of 4 children and also speaks Farsi and Hindi.
