Terry Alejo joined the staff of A Child's
Hideaway in August 1993. She is the Head
Teacher/Co-director for the South center.
A current resident of Newark, Terry attended
San Jose City College where she studied Early
Childhood Ed and received her AA degree.
She has currently recieved her Master teacher
permit from the California Department of Education.
Prior to working at A Child's Hideaway, Terry had eight years experience working with school age childcare and teaching Kindergarten.
Terry has a specialty in helping new children and parents, who have never been to school before, over come their fears. She also played a large role in developing our newest program, Great Beginnings, which she also teaches.
When Terry is away from the center she and her husband enjoys spending time with their son, daughter in-law and grandson, Oscar.
